THE HISTORY OF SUSHI MOOD
Sushi Mood, originally known as Sushimbra, was founded in 2012 in Sesimbra. Starting as a traditional sushi project, the restaurant has significantly evolved under the leadership of Chef Tiago Claro. After enriching training with renowned international chefs, Tiago returned to Sesimbra to reopen the establishment with its new name, Sushi Mood.
OUR MISSION
Dedicated to the local community, Sushi Mood is recognized for utilizing fresh fish from the coast of Sesimbra, strengthening the connection between the restaurant’s cuisine and the rich maritime history of the region. In 2023, our team deepened their expertise through specialized training in traditional Japanese cuisine in Tokyo College of Sushi and Washoku, earning a bronze medal in Japan. Additionally, we have received certification from the Japanese government, attesting to the authenticity of our Japanese products.
Sushi Mood continues to be a beacon of excellence and tradition, serving not just meals, but also the history and culture of Sesimbra.
